CES is always a whirlwind, and CES 2026 (6–9 January in Las Vegas) was no exception.
Between packed schedules, customer catch-ups, and partner conversations, the XMOS team had a busy week showcasing what’s next in intelligent audio, voice, and edge AI, and seeing how XMOS technology is powering products on the CES show floor.
Here’s a quick roundup of what we demoed, what we saw, and where you can catch us next.

What XMOS showcased at CES
GenSoC: the future of hardware programmability
Some of the most exciting conversations this week were all about our new category GenSoC (Generative System-on-Chip), and here’s why. GenSoC allows you to describe system behaviour in natural language and guarantee timing accuracy and functional performance in real-time. Bringing new levels of intelligence and capability to edge devices, and building on the parallelism and determinism that XMOS is known for.
GenSoC delivers a platform where custom hardware design becomes as fast and intuitive as software development.
The age of generative hardware design is here. Join us on the journey and be among the first to explore this exciting technology. Sign up for early access now.
DSP tuning GUI: faster iteration, better sound
We also demonstrated our DSP tuning GUI workflow, making it easier to iterate live on audio processing chains, tune effects in real time, and adapt designs for product-specific acoustics. Click here to discover how XCORE for DSP can transform your next product development
Embedded vision AI: edge intelligence beyond audio
XMOS isn’t just about audio: we also showcased edge AI vision as part of our CES lineup, highlighting how deterministic real-time processing and efficient compute can support smarter embedded systems.
Software-defined DAC: flexible audio pipelines in software
A big theme across the week was software-defined audio, including a software-defined DAC demo that underlines the XMOS approach: build rich audio systems in software, reduce hardware complexity, and iterate quickly as requirements evolve.
Customer products we loved seeing at CES
One of the best parts of CES is seeing real products out in the world, and this year we had plenty to talk about.
Reachy Mini featuring the VocalFusion XVF3800
We were delighted to see the Reachy Mini take the spotlight in the keynote speech by NVIDIA CEO, Jensen Huang. Reachy Mini is a joint venture with Pollen Robotics, Seeed Studio and Hugging Face and features at the heart of its audio system the XMOS VocalFusion® XVF3800. Enabling robust voice capture and interaction as part of a compelling, and very cute robotics experience. Discover more about the XVF3800 here: https://www.xmos.com/xvf3800/

Fosi Audio DAC featuring “XMOS Powered”
Fosi Audio highlighted “XMOS POWERED” in its latest portable DAC, the DS3. XMOS POWERED is a high-performance feature set designed specifically for the Hi-Fi audio market. It represents the next evolution of XMOS innovation, combining advanced signal processing, intelligent efficiency, and premium sound quality to deliver bit-perfect audio with efficient energy use.
