Software DAC Example Design

A demonstration platform has been developed to evaluate the software DAC. It consists of an XCORE.AI device in the compact QF60 package with all of the required support components to make a USB connected Headphone Amplifier. It is populated with components on a single-side only.

  • Supports 44.1 k, 48 k, 88.2 k, 96 k, 176.4 k & 192 kHz sample rate, stereo output
  • Only uses two hardware threads, two one-bit ports, one timer, one clock-block and 32 kB of RAM
