*** REQUIREMENTS The Motor & Motion Control kits can be driven directly from the USB port using the xTAG debug adapter; however to evaluate the EtherCAT module contained in the kit an EtherCAT master is required. An open source Linux-based IgH EtherCAT Master from EtherLab is available from the Synapticon web site. Windows developers must purchase a TwinCAT license from Beckhoff Automation GmbH, or a similar solution.
