Predictable Control
XCORE® delivers in hardware, many of the elements that you’d expect to see in a real-time operating system (RTOS). Separate logical cores for real-time tasks make it more predictable, more scalable and faster to respond than conventional RTOS based sequential processor systems.


XCORE I/O Ports
XCORE I/O ports provide unmatched programmability and flexibility, with multi-function operation, buffering, precise clocking, and efficient serialisation capabilities. These advanced ports enable software designers to offload time-critical I/O processing to create high speed, deterministic and low-latency interfaces for complex real-time applications.
DSP
XCORE’s unique architecture ensures that different parts of the system do not interfere with each other, delivering the robustness, low‑latency and guaranteed execution time required by DSP systems, especially those supporting multiple sample rates.Â

Efficient data capture and processing with deep neural networks; inferencing and characterisation of 8bit, 16bit, 32bit and binarized network models are supported. Programmable in C with standard tools, and frameworks.
