Office move supports rapid start-up

BRISTOL, UK - 23rd Jan 2008 - XMOS Semiconductor, the creator of Software Defined Silicon (SDS) has moved to larger premises in Bristol in the UK. Rapidly growing its headquarters staff to 34, the company has outgrown its former premises at SETsquared's University of Bristol incubator.

XMOS CEO James Foster said, "With test silicon back from the fab and our first product expected during Q2'2008 we now need more space to accommodate design, test, applications and marketing personnel. With September's Series A funding in place we've been able to move quickly to a dedicated HQ which is really great news for XMOS."

"The SETsquared incubator at the University of Bristol gave us a fantastic platform from which to prove the science of SDS. It gave us the flexibility to expand during our initial development phase and we are very grateful to all the staff there for all the help and support they have given us over the last 2 years. Our focus now is on developing the product and getting it market."
