BRISTOL, UK - 18 August, 2008. XMOS Semiconductor, the creator of Software Defined Silicon, is to appear at European exhibitions for the very first time. Hot on the heels of the launch of its highly acclaimed XS1-G Development Kit, the company will be present at the FPL08 and PLASA08 events to be held simultaneously in September.
Taking place September 8-10 at the Kirchhoff Institute for Physics at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, FPL is the longest running and largest conference to focus on the rapidly growing area of field programmable logic. A sponsor and speaker at this year event, XMOS will be demonstrating its very first silicon device, the XS1-G4, in a range of applications including networked audio, LED display control and wireless robotics. Henk Muller, Principal Technologist at XMOS, will be giving a presentation on the importance of composability in design.
