XMOS, the creator of Software Defined Silicon (SDS) is holding its first technical seminars in London on 23rd October. These half-day sessions are aimed at designers and engineers who want an introduction to designing with XMOS development tools and programmable chips. At the conclusion of the classroom training, applications engineers will be available to discuss attendees' design requirements.
Through a series of practical exercises, participants will learn how to create and compile SDS designs and download them to a target development board, which is the attendee's to keep following the seminar. Anyone with a basic knowledge of C language will be comfortable with the exercises.
Ed Clarke, XMOS Technical Marketing Manager commented, "These seminars provide a comprehensive insight into the capability of Software Defined Silicon. Design cycles in many sectors need accelerating, and customisation needs to be possible right up to the point of sale - participants will discover how the SDS simple design methodology achieves both."
The seminars will take place at the New Horizons Computer Learning Centre in London, Thursday 23rd October. The seminar costs $99USD and includes the new XC-1 development kit. For a full seminar agenda and to enrol and reserve a seat please visit www.xmos.com/support/seminars
