Motor Control
Above Part 1 of 2: Introduction and Hardware
Watch Part 2 of 2: Software and Conclusion
XMOS programmable event-driven processors provide a new unified approach to developing modern motor control applications. XMOS devices provide signal processing, fully flexible configurable I/O and interface flexibility in a single low cost device. The simple programming model uses a high-level language only flow allowing designers of sophisticated control electronics to develop the complete system quickly and efficiently within a unified environment.
The predictable real-time behavior of the XCore processor architecture, combined with the XMOS static timing analysis tool (XTA), provides a programmable platform which delivers guaranteed timing of software execution without requiring an RTOS.
