To help you get started with xCORE we have the xSOFTip Explorer an easy to use, tag and drag, tool that allows you to evaluate our library of xSOFTip software defined peripherals and IP blocks. You can pull together the compute, DSP blocks, and interfaces that you need for your design and see how many resources this might use in an xCORE device.

When you come to design your xCORE multicore microcontoller, we provide the xTIMEcomposer Studio tool. It includes a highly efficient compiler, multicore aware debugger and device programming tools. In addition it features advanced xSOFTip configuration tools, cycle accurate simulation with waveform viewer and high-speed in-circuit instrumentation using XScope. Unique to the embedded world, xTIMEcomposer also includes a static timing analyzer, which guarantees timing of your code.

Our comprehensive suite of tools provides everything needed to develop and deploy xCORE multicore microcontroller based products and is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX platforms. xTIMEcomposer can be used via our Eclipse IDE or from the command line and best of all, it is available free of charge here at our website.
