iPod Dock

The digital iPod and iPhone dock implements a digital signal path that streams audio from an iPod or iPhone device over USB, making it resistant to RF interference.

Bit perfect audio data transfer and playback synchronous to the local master clock ensures the highest high fidelity audio performance.

A further 185 MIPS of spare processing is available to add digital signal processing such as equalization functions and psycho-acoustic enhancements.

Developer License

The XMOS iPod/iPhone dock reference design source code is available only to registered Apple® "Made for iPod" licensees. The development license includes maintained source code and implementation support.
